Tara Brown Equine Artist
Q60 at colo, NSW
Tara rode Cedar Ridge Might and Power for his first successful 80k ride.

Although he was still a novice (obviously!) Might and Power won the award for 'Lowest Heart-rate' of the Ride. This was in the company seasoned and successful campaigners.
Tara rode him for Cedar Ridge Stables.

Here are some photographs of a few, of the many rides I have enjoyed.
*As I cannot fit photographs of all of the rides I have completed, I hope you enjoy looking at these photographs that I have chosen for you.

Presentation at State Ride.
Receiving my 1st 160k buckle at presentation. Thanks Sue for entrusting me with your beautiful appaloosa mare for the 160k's.

160k NSW State Championships 2005
My first 160k ride.
I rode Kissie for Sue Todd at Windeyer.
We completed successfully. I rode with Sue who rode her big Appaloosa gelding Pash

Tara trying to convince Odessa that it's really not as difficult as it looks!

After a bit of coaxing, Odessa made her way down the steps at Shahzada.

Here they are, Tara and Odessa, working their way down the steps at Shahzada.

Tara rode Greengrove Odessa for Camille Alexander in the 80k. The mare's 1st ride in many years.
They won 1st Lightweight. The mare worked beautifully.

The Rock 160k, 2007
This photo was taken of Tara on the last leg of the ride, having ridden the last 140k with rubbed raw knees (so that smile is an agonising one!)

Tara was riding Billiwillingah Rocky (aka 'the pocket rocket') for Little Banks Arabians.

They came 3rd overall.
Riding to owners instructions of completing the ride in no less than 11 hours.
They completed in 11hours 3minutes!
